Claystone Clinical Associates is a multidisciplinary practice providing psychological care across the lifespan, from infancy through older adulthood. Our team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. We provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual, couple, and family. Our goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment that helps clients address challenges, build resilience, and move toward healthier, more meaningful lives.
Our Team
I work with teens (15+) and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping clients feel heard while building practical tools for lasting change. I also serve as a Clinical Supervisor in Michigan for Limited Licensed Professional Counselors, emphasizing structured professional development, ethical and client safety, and creating a supportive environment where clinicians can confidently explore and strengthen their clinical skills.

Most of us act with the best of intentions and don’t always get the results we were expecting. As a counselor, my role is not to tell a client what to do, but rather to help clients examine what their goals are, different ways goals can be achieved, and to provide supportive and honest feedback through a therapeutic relationship. I have lived in and around very diverse communities throughout my life, and I take pride in understanding and honoring everyone’s unique culture and beliefs.

When you seek out a therapist, you are entrusting someone you've never met with the well being of you and your family, so it's important that you learn more about me as you make your decision. While my therapeutic approach is typically positive and fun, I take client care seriously as I support children, adolescents and families on their journey toward achieving their goals. I enjoy collaborating with individuals and families to help uncover strengths and improve relationships while promoting positive communication skills and improved coping skills that can be easily transitioned from the our sessions into everyday life.

**offering tele therapy*** When a client comes to his/her first session, I often share that they have done the hardest part: to make that initial call and to show up. From there, I look at it as my responsibility to help one feel safe sharing feelings/experiences so that they improve how they currently feel and create the life they want to get excited about living in the future. My approach is direct, simple, empathetic and effective. I have more than 20 years of experience providing therapy to adults and adolescents who are facing significant challenges/crisis' as well as those who are seeking personal growth.
