I am a warm, compassionate and engaged therapist. We can work short or long term but healing trauma can take some time. I use Internal Family Systems (Level two trained) and EMDR to help heal deep core wounds and release burdens that have been carried in one's system, often for a lifetime. The work is experiential and can be truly transformative. I work with individuals, families and couples. I work well with couples committed to deep work who seek true intimacy. I am trained in Intimacy From the Inside Out, The IFS couples model.
I help individuals and couples who may have experienced family of origin trauma such as parents who struggled with their own mental health challenges or substance abuse issues. I am versatile and adaptive to your needs but mostly work using IFS, helping you understand the different parts of you, and guiding you through healing processes.
