My name is Claudia Ulwelling, MA, LMFT. My approach to therapy is to offer a safe and welcoming space for you to explore life challenges that you feel may be holding you back from your goals. I have experience treating clients with family conflict, grief/loss, life transitions, personal growth and transformation, spirituality, stress and trauma. My therapeutic approaches are dependent on clients individual needs. Solution Focused and Person Centered Therapies are two modalities I have found to promote increased well-being.
I have a passion for working with people who feel ready to face challenges in their lives, that are in a space of exploration and have a desire to heal.
It is important in the therapeutic process that clients feel a sense of connection and trust with their therapists (aka a good fit). Once a trusting therapeutic alliance has been formed, clients feel unconditional positive regard and safe to process whatever issue is surfacing for them.
