About
I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and families on a variety of issues, including but not limited to behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, adoption/foster care, trauma, and family stress. While I provide therapy to child and adolescent clients, I offer research-based parenting strategies for parents to support the child's treatment goals.
I offer play therapy, both child-centered and more directive activities, as well as psychodynamic and evidence-based approaches (DBT) with older clients. I have several years of experience coaching teachers and educators in social-emotional concepts, and believe it is important to collaborate with schools when working with children and adolescents.
I am committed to my role as a therapist, and draw from a clinically focused education and years of experience and training. I also recognize that parents are the experts on their children and family, and work closely to provide treatment that feels personalized and appropriate for each specific family's unique experience and goals.
