Grief is all around us in these tumultuous times. Grief counseling can be helpful, whether you have experienced a death, an illness or a diagnosis. You may be inside a major life transition which has generated grief. My work is to listen as you express how you feel and how your life has been impacted. No matter how challenging your situation may be, you can rediscover who you are now and how you want to shape your life now. I can help you find your way back to wholeness.
Difficult times help us grow through process and resilience. As a thanatologist, I am trained in many therapeutic models, including narrative work, creative and expressive art modalities and compassionate presence. I will meet you where you are and help you find your own way towards living fully after loss, while retaining important connections.
Transformational counseling is appropriate for other loss situations where grief arises, such as divorce, illness and invasive medical treatment, break up, job loss, retiring with purpose and other life transitions.
