Congratulations on taking the first step of your journey! Finding the right therapist is not easy. I hope to give you enough information to determine whether or not we would be a good fit. I provide services in both English and Spanish. I have extensive experience providing individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults of diverse racial/ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. I also provide consultation services for parents with children with Individual Education Plan (IEP) and collaborate with your child's school to maximize their educational potential.
Through a strengths-based holistic approach, I work with you to achieve your personal or relational goals. I specialize in working with kids and relationships- the relationships that you have with your partner, yourself and your children.
I use various tools such as Conflict Resolution; Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Play Therapy; Behavior Management; Parenting Skills; Child-Parent Psychotherapy; Stress Reduction; and Communication Skills. I have a Bachelor in Psychology, a Master in Counselling, Specialization in Marriage and Family, and Psychologist degree from Colombia South America.
