One of my primary interests is that of free will. It is my own personal belief that addiction, trauma, and other mental health issues either subvert or inhibit our free will as well as our own personal development into an authentic individual. My ideal client is an individual that is seeking to work through the restraints and obstacles they experience to live a more intentional life. I enjoy learning about people's lives and asking questions to understand their unique experiences. Everyone has amazing stories, and your life is full of color.
I draw my tools from many different therapeutic approaches which include Bowen, narrative, CBT, solutions-focused, EFT, and existential models. As your therapist, we will work together to find the right fit for what you are coming in for. I believe therapy and life should be approached with attitude of benevolent curiosity and goodwill
It takes real courage to reach out to the unknown person and discuss deep personal subjects. My part as your therapist is to build on that courage and foster a trusting relationship which grows into a force for positive change.
