Welcome! I support clients working through anxiety, depression, life stressors, religious trauma, challenging childhoods, grief, low self-esteem/self-concept, identity, and LGBTQ+ concerns. Clients who may be a good fit for me are motivated to get to know themselves better and work on shaking off unhelpful patterns. For my in person sessions, I provide fidgets and coloring pages, and welcome clients to bring their own items if desired. I will almost always be fidgeting in session. Sometimes clients prefer to sit on the floor or take off their shoes - I celebrate sensory adjustments like this!
I recognize the mind-body connection, and enjoy incorporating exercises like breathwork, progressive muscle relaxation, visualizations, meditations, and other grounding techniques into client sessions.
I recognize clients as the experts of their own lives, and view the therapeutic relationship as a type of dance between curious people. I believe therapy can be for anyone, and engage in my own personal therapy journey as well. I aim to create an equitable and judgement free zone in my space.
