People usually find themselves in my office when life feels hard to untangle. Grief, depression, relying on substances more than you’d like, or the pressures of an increasingly scary and uncertain world.
People who I work with have told me they feel comfortable quickly, which allows the real work of therapy to begin. I strive to be warm, steady, and unequivocally affirming. I have experience working with substance misuse/abuse, intimate partner violence, trauma, and grief. A part of my practice is dedicated to serving the LGBT community and the unique challenges they face.
You won’t find a stuffy clinical office with me. My office is sun-filled, with a huge comfortable couch and lots (and I mean LOTS) of plants. People have told me this is like sitting in a living room vs. visiting a clinical office. If this sounds like something that fits you, get in touch.
