Change is hard for everyone. When we are stuck in patterns of behavior, sometimes it can be hard to decide how to take steps to break those patterns. I believe that taking even one small step can make a big impact on our thoughts and feelings. My goal is to help clients take action to break patterns of behavior that are no longer beneficial. I want to help clients identify small sustainable strategies that can help develop and maintain positive changes.
I have supported children and families in many residential, school, and community-based settings. I have experience working with youth of all ages. I am passionate about helping children, teens, and families overcome challenging behaviors resulting from mental health concerns or trauma.
I utilize a variety of treatment methods and want all clients to play an active role in therapeutic strategies that are right for them. Because taking action to create change is so important to me, I frequently use CBT and Solution-Focused strategies in my work with clients.
