About
Some concerns that bring people to me are their experience of loneliness, depression, and anxiety; feelings of worry, emptiness, and sadness; a search for connection and meaning in relationships and work; life transitions; perfectionism; self-doubt; relationship difficulties; divorce; searching for life direction and a sense of purpose; loss and grief; and exploration of identity. I work with people through collaborative, interactive conversation to help them gain insight, to develop strategies to approach their life challenges, and to feel known and understood. People describe me as empathic, genuine, and with a sense of humor.
It takes courage to open up to a process of self-discovery and potential change. While that endeavor can be unsettling at times, it makes possible a greater sense of grounding, clarity, and authenticity. I work to create a trusting and respectful context to support your exploration, healing, and growth, and to identify ways to move forward.
My approach is based upon years of experience working with people across the lifespan. I find that when we feel deeply known for our concerns and struggles and for our qualities and strengths, we can discover ways to approach the complexity of ourselves and our lives with renewed energy and a greater sense of peace.
