Relationships are a tremendously important part of our lives. When they are going well, they are a great source of joy, comfort, and meaning. When they are not, they can be painful and consuming, and lead to depression, anxiety, and despair. I specialize in helping people with all kinds of relationship challenges, from healing after affairs, to deciding whether to stay in a marriage that seems to have lost its life force. Maybe you are in a business partnership with someone that you are having trouble relating to these days, or struggling to find new meaning after the kids are grown and gone. I can help you find some clarity
I have specialized training in couples therapy, Imago Relationship Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy as well as the Gottman Method. I use this formal training along with the many things I learn from my clients to help people find peace and clarity, promote healing in the aftermath of betrayal or hurt, and help people find joy and connection.
So what you might want to know about me, is that I have been doing this work for over 20 years now- and yes, I am getting on up there in age. I enjoy the work as much as ever. When we meet together we will spend some time learning about you, and connecting, and there may be tears and there also will be some laughing, and hopefully, some healing.
