Increasing your self-awareness through therapy in order to make conscious change in your life offers exciting and challenging opportunities to discover your whole self. By attending to what you feel, think and sense in the moment of the therapy session, you will begin to notice how the experiences we create together live outside of the session in your everyday life. The awareness you build in our sessions provides a stable ground from which you can make choices in life that will free you from the patterns of behavior that have limited you for so long.
I provide a down-to-earth, non-judgemental and supportive atmosphere where we will build on your strengths and develop insight to help you achieve your goals and live life to its fullest. My practice is rooted in Developmental Somatic Psychotherapy®, psychodynamic psychotherapy and a body-based Gestalt orientation.
I work with people who struggle with life transitions, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, and LGBT issues. I also work with parents who are need support with the challenges of parenting and I facilitate a mom and baby group where parents discover how their nonverbal interactions influence their baby.
