I believe the power of therapy lies in the strength of connection and trust within the therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a safe space for individuals and couples to show up, just as they are, while learning to grow into their strengths and foster self-understanding and compassion, contextualized within one's lived history, and the wider social and political landscape. I am a Certified Dialogue Therapist, and work with couples within this framework- you can explore this work further at the Center for Real Dialogue website. RD also heavily influences my work with individuals wanting to focus on their relationships.
I base my work in embodied and mindfulness practices, rooted in the humanistic belief that we all have an innate capacity to heal and grow. It is my job to make space for listening to and identifying the needs of the present moment and to support clients in finding points of action that move them toward the changes that they want in their lives.
