I am passionate about working with children and adolescents who are struggling to make sense of their world and manage life's challenges. I have 5+ years experience in the mental health field in partnering with kids, teens, and their families who are navigating a wide variety of issues, including everyday stressors, school-related difficulties, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, family struggles, neurodivergence, and navigating juvenile court and DCFS/DHS involvement. My priority is to meet every individual and family where they are by providing a safe space to make sense of their unique experiences and circumstances.
I aim to provide a therapeutic space where children and teens can explore their emotions and experiences in a way that feels natural to them. I utilize a trauma-informed approach and draw on a diverse range of therapeutic skills and interventions to tailor therapy to each person's unique needs and lived experiences.
My focus is on helping each young person strengthen connections, learn healthy coping strategies, and gain self-awareness to empower them in their journey growth and safety. I also collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure consistent support for their child/teen to strengthen the family's ability to foster positive change and growth at home.
