For many of us, simply talking about our challenges is not enough. Our traumas live in our bodies. Muscle tension reveals how we have adapted around painful memories, emotions, and beliefs. Tension in the body has helped us cope, but now may limit our breath, relationships, and our full sense of aliveness. Rosen Method Bodywork is an integrative somatic modality that uses both touch and talk to grow awareness of how and what we are holding. As the unconscious becomes conscious, memories and emotions often arise for us to be with and support. I am now offering discounted Rosen Method Bodywork sessions as I work toward certification.
I use an integrative approach, newly adding Rosen Method Bodywork to my decade+ experience as a somatic psychotherapist. This work can be supportive for those experiencing trauma symptoms in their bodies, psychosomatic concerns, chronic illness, chronic tension, and for those who want a body based approach to healing.
My intention as a somatic therapist is to provide compassionate witness, to aid you in growing embodied self awareness, and to support you in deeply knowing and caring for yourself.
