If you're here, chances are you want to feel closer to the people you love. Maybe you and your partner keep missing each other, your family feels stuck in hurt or distance, you're worried about your child and wish you understood what was happening underneath their behavior, or you're coming on your own because you want to trust more, say what you actually feel, and show up differently in your relationships. You may know exactly what you want your relationships to feel like, but not how to get there. I believe you can have relationships that do more than simply "work." You can feel known, safe, honest, playful, and connected.
I help couples, individuals, families, and children create connection. We'll slow down where you get stuck, get underneath the fighting, silence, anxiety, or distance, and practice saying what is harder to say. With kids, I use play therapy informed techniques and work closely with caregivers to help you understand your child and strengthen the relationship.
Therapy with me is active, warm, curious, and very human. I'll ask real questions, tell you what I'm noticing, make room for the hard stuff, and laugh with you when it fits. I'm much less interested in what's "wrong" with you and much more interested in how you got here, what you're longing for, and how we can help you create more of it.
