I see therapy as a vital part of healthcare & will continue to do my best to make it truly accessible for everyone. Because at the end of the day, you should be able to schedule an appointment with a safe person in a safe space (just like any other doctor visit or check-up) without having to worry about how to afford it or who to turn to when things get difficult. There have been multiple counselors & therapists that made fundamental positive differences in my life. Since I wouldn't be here without those individuals, I have always wanted to extend feelings of being supported, understood, & truly seen to others around me.
I gravitate towards Person-Centered Therapy but I have also done varied training in more specialized therapeutic methods - because every person's world is unique. In alignment with Humanistic views, I believe that each person is an expert on themselves and I, as your therapist, am here as a guide on your uniquely tailored journey of growth.
I got into this field first because of the people that helped shape my life and my own mental health. I firmly believe that everyone deserves a safe environment to explore oneself and improve overall mental health.
