Using multiple evidence-based interventions, with heavy use of Intensive Trauma Recovery, which is less invasive than traditional trauma exposure therapies, clients regain positive levels of functioning from traumatic events quickly. I work well with all ages and I love working with families and have extensive training in parenting modalities that work!
I truly want to hear your story, aid you in finding solutions to problems, relieve fears that induce anxiety and depression, and walk beside you in this journey of recovery and healing from whatever trauma that has come your way. Together we will navigate the course to find peace, joy, healing and restore self to a previous level of healthy functioning.

Parenting
Active Parenting is a 6 week/2 hours per session weekly group/family/individual/couple. Active Parenting uses Adlerian theory of choices and consequences in order to raise children who are respectful, cooperative and can thrive in their world. Active Parenting uses "I" statements, a democratic parenting style where children have a voice but the parent has the final say. It aids parents in helping children met the five goals of childhood: belonging; personal power/choice; protection; withdrawal; and risk.
