The work of counseling is soul work, to help you discover and become aware of your own principles of life, your thoughts and feelings, your strengths and growing edges. Let's help you understand your actions and behaviors. My goal for you is a compassionate journey as we unpack the emotional messages you have received throughout your life and examine ways to accommodate or reframe them, to seek freedom. I work with individuals, and some couples to explore ways to encourage options. Counseling is available for short-term and long-term needs.
My education includes a Master of Science in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University Maryland, Graduate Theological Studies from Wesley Seminary, and years of experience in preventive healthcare. I work with people of all faith traditions, and those who do not claim a specific faith.
Sometimes the need arises to refer to other health care specialists. Specific clinical strengths include an understanding of health and wellness, as well as complicated, chronic medical concerns. This includes depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and medical limitations. I will help you look at ways of enhancing your lifestyle.
