About
I view therapy as a collaborative process in which an individual can explore their concerns in a supportive and encouraging environment. I have over 20 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, families, and couples with a variety of concerns. The foundations of my work as a therapist are authenticity in the client-counselor relationship and a strengths-based clinical approach grounded in cognitive-behavioral and acceptance-commitment theories.
I bring to my work extensive training and experience in treating a variety of issues including: anxiety, depression, stress management, substance abuse, relationship issues, life transitions, infertility, emotional resilience, identity development, career decisions, and pre-marital counseling.
My primary goal for therapy is for individuals to feel fully healthy and alive and to live their lives with joy: to be the best versions of themselves, even in the difficult times.
