I am Cindy Painter, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 25 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have had the pleasure of helping families, older adolescents, and adults build successful, healthier lives. I specialize in supporting those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and anger management, working extensively with individuals, families, and adolescents. I enjoy taking a team approach with clients, working together to resolve current issues and stressors. I completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Virginia Commonwealth University.
I use a variety of treatment methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices. With significant experience assisting individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, I also work with adolescents and adults on developing anger management skills.
