Life can be overwhelming at times. It is not uncommon to hit the wall and say "Now what?" I will help you find a way to cope. We will work together to find practical solutions and effective strategies to help you navigate life's ongoing challenges. I am compassionate and non-judgmental with over 25 years of experience. My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but I am well versed in many therapeutic modalities and it is my job to help you find the one that works for you.
My clients tell me that I listen, that I really hear them, and that ultimately I "get" them. I am empathetic but at the same time, I am straightforward and honest. From this we are able to build a trusting relationship that allows for real growth and lasting change.
We will identify patterns of behavior that no longer work for you and develop effective communication, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills that will give you the results you are looking for. You will notice a significant improvement in your family, work, and social relationships, and ultimately in yourself.
