I truly enjoy my work and feel it is my calling. I may be a good fit for you if you are a Female Veteran, Military Dependent, Emerging Adult (school to first job), or Gifted and Anxious. Other specialties are anger management, chronic pain, trauma clients. Another specialty have success working with is working class young people, first generation immigrants and first generation college graduates.
My practice supports authentic living, to join with persons and offer my understanding of where they are. Such genuine contact encourages awareness of possibilities that otherwise remain just out of reach. While I am familiar with DSM diagnoses, I see persons as creatively adapting to experiences in their lives, not as "sick" persons needing "treatment."
I typically return calls the same or next day and put aside time for new patients to be seen the next week so you can start therapy without waiting for weeks.
