Finding a therapist can be a daunting task. I believe that the therapist-client relationship is very important and is key to productive therapeutic work. I work with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Many times the pressures of life will lead clients to seek counseling to deal with relationship and family issues. I am a co-occurring disorder therapist which means I also have credentials in addiction. Many of my clients may have a mental health issue as well as an addictive disorder. I work with couples as well as GLBT clients. I return all phone calls.
I am a cognitive behavior therapist as well as a chemical dependency professional. I also work with patients who are considering weight loss surgery or need help with issues related to weight. I specialize in auto accident patients who have driving anxiety using their PIP auto coverage.
I am a provider for many different insurance company's and also see self paying clients on a sliding scale depending on income. Many times clients are able to make great changes in their lives when they have the ongoing support of a therapist as they deal with life issues.
