Welcome to Light Vision Counseling. I specialize in working with people who are struggling with difficult changes, grief and loss, relationship challenges and other stressful life experiences that cause anxiety, stir up negative and ruminating thoughts, and seem overwhelming. I seek to provide an atmosphere where clients can feel safe and comfortable as, together, we develop practical skills and strategies which will empower them to regain a sense of control, clarity, hope, and renewed joy in living life. I utilize client-centered, strengths-based, treatment methods and therapeutic techniques that incorporate effective, evidence-based, counseling approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, ACT, IFS, and narrative. I am trauma informed and trained in basic EMDR therapy. My approach tends to be more direct and structured.

Recognizing people as unique individuals with needs specific to experiences, I partner with each client to establish a strong therapeutic connection and create a specialized treatment plan. Together, we will find your best path toward a renewed sense of wholeness and well-being. If requested, we can also intentionally include elements of the Christian faith.
