About
Hello! I am Cindy Carman PhD, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience working with individuals, families, children, preteens, and minors. I often work with issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, adolescent/teen issues, and anger management, among others. I have extensive experience with children and teens with emotional and behavioral disorders. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy modalities. I am an outgoing person that loves to meet new people, and I would like to share with you how therapy can enhance your life!
I strive to make every session open and comfortable. Therapy is about positive communication. I want to know what is going well in your world too, because those are the strengths that we will use to find success. I will work closely with you to develop individualized goals and develop a treatment plan based on identified needs.
Life issues and mental health struggles can affect us at any stage of life, and I truly enjoy being part of the healing process. Our first session is a relaxed session of getting to know each other and exploring your background and any issues you are struggling with. If you are ready to get started, I encourage you to reach out today!
