Life challenges can be overwhelming at times. I strive to assist individuals, couples and families in achieving emotionally healthy lives and reaching their specific life goals. I have a master degree in social work with a post graduate in Marriage and Couples therapy and a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology. I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and I am trained in EMDR. I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, parenting, substance use and adjustment struggles. I have clinical interests in cognitive behavioral, EMDR, mindfulness, animal-assisted, creative and art approached therapy.
I work by empowerment and strength building to improve overall functioning. I incorporate treatment through various modalities such as experiential, CBT, mindfulness, EMDR, animal-assisted, creative therapies and other theoretical based-treatment. I treat children through adults experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD and other mental health issues.
I provide a supportive, safe environment for my clients to explore and understand self. I assist by identifying and building on strengths and empowerment to obtain treatment goals. I am passionate about providing each client with the necessary tools and support to meet their specific needs. We can work together to identify what your individual needs are.
