My aim is to be genuine, down-to-earth, and to use a healthy dose of humor in therapy. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and trauma, though I work with a wide variety of clients. I am skilled at treating care-taking professionals, such as nurses, educators, and other therapists. I love providing support to people who are struggling to balance their work, school, and personal responsibilities while learning to take care of themselves, especially parents of kids with special challenges. I have a decade of experience with LGBTQ+ mental health care. I also enjoy working with perfectionists and scientifically-minded individuals.
Building a trusting relationship is my priority in treatment. My approach blends CBT, DBT, ACT, as well as mindfulness and somatic-based trauma interventions such as Brainspotting and IFS, tailored to meet your unique needs. This has proven to be especially effective with individuals with attachment traumas, chronic suicidality, and low self esteem.
