My aim is to be genuine, down-to-earth, and to use a healthy dose of humor in therapy. I specialize in depression, anxiety, and trauma, though I work with a wide variety of clients. I connect well with moms who are struggling with balancing the responsibilities of parenthood while taking care of themselves. I am skilled at treating care-taking professionals, such as nurses, educators, and other therapists. I love providing support to the parents of kids with behavioral health challenges who are trying to break cycles of unhealthy parenting. I have a decade of experience with transgender mental health care.
If you think you aren't going to like therapy or had bad experiences in the past, let's give it a try together. I also enjoy working with perfectionists, logical and scientifically minded professionals, young adults who are unsure of their life direction, or people struggling with organization, focus, and task completion.
If you have questions about starting therapy, please call or email me, and we can talk about your options. It's important that you feel comfortable with the process, and I'd like to help address your questions and concerns.
