My work is grounded in the integration of Western psychology and Eastern thought including mindfulness-based, contemplative practices. I understand the importance of the body's story in the healing process and invite deeper exploration through present-moment awareness, breath and dialogue.
Healing occurs as we authentically open toward that which is hurting us. As we experience the truth of the pain with mindful awareness, we can better integrate it into the fabric of our life. Deeply accepting what is, diminishes suffering. The pain can become a portal to deeper meaning.
