I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive training and experience in a wide range of treatment concerns. I work with young adults, adolescents, children, and adults who are experiencing various types of depression and mood difficulties, anxiety, stress, eating disorders, addictions, and relationship or peer-related problems. My approach draws from cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapies supported by research, and is tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual. I also incorporate mindfulness and positive psychology approaches focused on enhancing happiness, resilience, satisfaction, and meaning.
My style can best be described as relational and collaborative. In addition to hopefully lessening bothersome symptoms and improving well-being, I view therapy as a process of creating more understanding and awareness that allows for more freedom and choice. I enjoy my work and feel grateful to do the work that I do.
I completed my training at PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium and Northwestern, and my advanced clinical training at UCLA and Children's Hospital Oakland. In addition to private practice, I am an adjunct clinical assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine in the psychiatry department.

Groups
Breaking Free from Anxiety and Depression
An ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) group for anxiety and depression. ACT is an empirically based psychological intervention that uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies (such as meditation), together with commitment and behavior change strategies, to increase psychological flexibility.
