It's hard to go it alone with painful feelings of confusion, guilt, sadness, anxiety or despair. I help you access and unravel internal knots related to work or school performance, conflictual relationships, gender and sexuality, addictive behaviors, struggles with self-care and body image, or a family history troubled by dysfunction, divorce, addiction, mental illness, abuse, unresolved conflict or estrangement from loved ones.
My style is direct, engaged and deeply attuned. Within a warm collaborative relationship you can explore stuck patterns, face painful truths, and learn to be kinder to yourself. This results in healthier more balanced relationships with others as the experience of caring support and new patterns of relating are integrated into your everyday life.
My work draws on relational, psychodynamic, somatic and mindfulness practices to support shorter term work (6 months to 2 years) involving problem exploration, healthy paradigm shift and skills integration, or longer term work for deeper understanding, greater stability and lasting change.
