I have been a social worker for over twenty five years and have enjoyed a varied career in which I have had the pleasure of working with people of all ages, including preschool, grade school, young adults, adults and the elderly. In my current practice I have developed a specialization working with adults and young adults with anxiety and / or OCD. When we meet we will develop an individualized treatment plan together to best meet your needs.
I use varied therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, behavior modification, mindfulness-based therapy, family systems work, exposure response therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and attachment therapy. I see the therapeutic process as a partnership and I always come from a strength-based perspective.
As we work together, I will help you better understand yourself and help you overcome your obstacles. The main goal is to empower you. I want to give you the tools necessary so that you can be successful and feel good about yourself!
