I work with the over-stressed and over-whelmed who feel like somewhere along the way they lost control of things. Together, we explore how anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, over stimulation, (to name a few) in combination with carrying, the weight of the world can result in feeling out of control. There is no "typical" issue or "standard client", so there is no "standard session" either. I offer a space for people to vent, process, reframe, reset and most importantly, regain control. I come from a Narrative Perspective in that we (and society) are the authors of our own story and sometimes need help "taking back the pen" and re-authoring our story. So often our stress comes from living a life that we “ought” to live which creates a conflict (aka stress). I will actually listen to you, help identify conflicts and discover your truth.
