My name is Ciara Cook and I am an intern from Capella’s Marriage and Family Therapist Master’s program. I have been studying marriage and family therapy for 3 years. I am now working under supervision at Adaptive Therapy Counseling group under Ryan Schwerzamann, LFMT. I am extremely grateful to be able to increase my hand-on experience as I work towards my goals and pursue my purpose as a therapist.
In March 2025, I will graduate with my Master’s in Marriage Family Therapy from Capella University. In my Master’s program I have studied the foundation of couples and family therapy, adolescence, multiple therapeutic models, and behavior disorders. My primary interest are couples therapy, individual therapy,communication patterns, anxiety, and self esteem.
