If you are looking for an experienced therapist, I have over 35 years working professionally in the Mental Health field. This includes working in hospital/treatment settings for family and personal addiction recovery and 6 years working in a family counseling agency doing individual, family and group therapy. For the last 25 years, I have been in private practice seeing individual adults. I am currently credentialed with Aetna, BCBS, and Optum/UHC in North Carolina. I am able to see you in person at my Brevard office. I can also do telehealth with North Carolina and Tennessee residents.
I specialize in a number of areas in helping people deal with their issues and challenges. This includes: grief and loss, post-trauma, post divorce, life/ personal adjustment, addictions, family recovery, anxiety/stress and depression.
I use a client-centered therapy approach to the issues presented and the needs and purpose/goals of the client. I see therapy as a mutual effort to help achieve healing and growth. I appreciate working with clients in an interactive, positive way.
