For 35 years, I've been honored to offer my clients an experience that combines expertise, collaboration, and creativity. Some learn how to have a productive disagreement, how to show empathy, how to set boundaries, and how to ask for what they need. Others learn to take the steps forward while healing from painful events and trauma.
As a Certified Brainspotting Therapist, I use this technique to help you overcome trauma, any highly charged emotional issue, anxiety, as well as blocks in creativity. For couples, I have Level 3 (advanced) training in the Gottman Method. As a Certified Group Psychotherapist, I am trained to help my clients improve their interpersonal lives with others.

Groups
Therapists' Consultation Group
As we learn about ourselves, we become better therapists. This is a training group for professional development for psychotherapists which includes case consult and group process. It is for both those who are fully licensed and those in training. Hours will count toward supervision hours for those who are LPCs in training. Rebecca Compton is a Certified Group Psychotherapist and has additional intensive training from the Center for Group Studies in New York City. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month via Secure Video. Therapists from out of state are welcome.
