My specialty is listening and focusing on you individually or as a couple. I have been trained in many methods-- cognitive, emotional, body based, which involves breathing and holding patterns. But therapy is always specific. Together we identify what is best for you. One session is usually enough for people to see if a therapist is right for them.
I have worked as an award winning reporter and editor, a tenured college professor and a psychotherapist; this varied background helps me see that people have choices and potential that they're not always aware of.
