For over 32 years, I have enjoyed being an agent of change that aims to help others become the best version of themselves that they can possibly be. Although I employ a lot of CBT/DBT techniques in the work I do , I also have unique experience in combining theatrical elements into the therapy I do. I have extensive experience in working with issues including: self-harm, substance abuse, psychiatric disorders, executive functioning skills deficits (ADHD), and parent/child or couples relationships.
I currently reside in the Wilmington, NC area, and am available for in person sessions twice a week there, but have maintained my professional licensure in Virginia as well, and have continued to see several of my clients from Virginia, via teletherapy sessions. I personally enjoy using CBT, DBT, ADHD, and Theatre of the Oppressed techniques in my sessions.
