Trauma, addiction, and other personal stressors can feel overwhelming and confusing when confronted alone. Together, the client and therapist can work toward healing, growth, and change. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings helping clients resolve complicated issues in their personal and professional lives. I have an extensive background in treating addiction as it pertains to the individual and the family. Additionally, my work has focused on codependency, men's and women's issues, trauma/PTSD, relationship stress, and developing healthy communication with others. I also work with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.

I engage each client using an eclectic approach, deciding on how to move forward based on the client's goals and how long they want to come to therapy. Some of the techniques I most frequently use are solution focused therapy, reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.

I believe in a collaborative approach to treating clients and have worked with referral sources, health care professionals, the legal system, monitoring agencies, and community resources to provide the most comprehensive treatment possible.
