Hi, I’m Dakota. I’m passionate about helping adults and adolescents heal from the pain of their past and grow into lives that bring them joy and fulfillment. You may be dealing with chronic pain, depression, trauma, or just feel lost or stuck. Let’s work together to figure out what brings you meaning, joy, and peace to your life.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative experiment. I meet my clients where they are at and together we devise a solution that works for you. My primary orientation is to feedback informed treatment. If we're not seeing the results we hoped for, we change course. I will meet you where you’re at and walk with you towards where you want to be!
I believe in whole-body, whole-person care and that counseling is just one piece of the path towards wellness. Healing is not always easy, but you don’t have to do it alone. I use mindfulness-based, body-based, and cognitive behavioral tools to treat chronic pain, trauma, depression, anxiety, and more.

I take a 3 phase approach to trauma work. In Phase 1, we'll take a strong skills-based approach to therapy as we get to know each other and develop some trust. In Phase 2, we'll begin to dive into the deeper issues at the root of your symptoms via EMDR or other trauma-based approaches. In Phase 3 we focus on life changes that help you build a life worth living.
