As a Licensed Mental Heath Counselor, I join with each individual to offer person-centered, trauma-informed interventions to enable each person an opportunity to come closer to creating a life filled with well-being, balance and positive growth. Utilizing a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities enables me to support the individuals' strengths as they take positive steps toward solutions needed to deal with challenges successfully. I am passionate about my work with helping children, adolescents, teens and families heal from the stressors and negative experiences during difficult times in their lives.
My interest in healing physical and psychological trauma, neglect and life events inspires my work with children and families. Sensitive trauma-informed care gives all individuals the opportunity to change, heal and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. My experience as a case coordinator, crisis counselor and teacher provide useful skills to draw upon.
Many life experiences present challenges young children and their families face as they encounter social, emotional, physical and economic stressors. I am a compassionate therapist who is down-to-earth and approachable. My focus is on you and your needs in a setting where you can feel safe and trust your privacy is respected.
