Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. First meeting generates a treatment plan to be discussed. Goals are reassessed throughout the therapy process. Strategies taught in the sessions can be used outside of therapy. The goal of treatment is to give you tools to reduce symptoms causing distress and to increase your quality-of-life. Telehealth sessions only.
It is difficult to find a good therapist, one that understands your concerns and knows how to teach the tools that research has shown to be most beneficial to reduce symptoms and suffering. Any questions about my therapy style, I welcome you to reach out. OK to text to set a free initial chat/call time. Check my website for more info.....treatOCDnow.com

While I am trained to work with clients that have any type of struggle, my area of specialty is obsessive compulsive disorder and obsessive-compulsive spectrum concerns. For this, exposure and ritual prevention practice both in-session and between-sessions is primary. This is combined with other therapy methods to help with motivation and to help reduce depression. Therapy is customized to you.

Each person is unique in their personality and in the symptoms with which they struggle. As such, while I practice from primarily a cognitive-behavioral perspective, the therapy is catered to the individual based on what might be most useful. Typically therapy involves a variety of tools to give the most benefit, and to give you strategies that you can use in life outside the therapy session.
