I spent years working with clients in Wake and Durham counties and still do! Are you struggling day in day out and want to see something change? I'd love to get to know you and collaborate on how you might cultivate a more fulfilling, less distressing life. I counsel women ages 21+ living with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain and illness; relationship issues, work stressors, major life transitions, grief and loss, creative block, learning self advocacy. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community. You can learn to flourish despite issues you may now see as impediments. Let me walk with you on this journey. Let's find your joy!
Me? Warm, easygoing, empathic and supportive. My orientation is primarily humanistic and I'm trained in and practice ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy) with a bio-psycho-social-spiritual focus. We will identify your values & goals for therapy and work together to construct actionable steps to move you closer to where you want to be in life.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is of most importance, regardless of intervention. You can be assured I will honor you with respect, dignity and confidentiality. I'm an "all in" person who really does this not just as hard work, but heart work. Thank you for the privilege of working with you.
