Welcome! Every day we are faced with challenges that can be overwhelming and therapy can be a great way to re-center and have a private space to be honored and understood. I work with individuals ages 10-70 who struggle with unresolved trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, substance use as well as children struggling with family conflict and parenting challenges. I work to provide a personalized experience that empowers clients to improve their wellbeing through developing skills to improve relationships, increase connection, decrease negative stress responses and enhance spirituality.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. I have experience in counseling children, adolescents, adults, and couples. My expertise in counseling active duty service members to include special forces soldiers and their families along with veterans have given me the confidence in addressing your specific mental health needs. My treatment approaches are eclectic as everyone has different needs. My approach includes CBT, DBT, trauma-focused, family systems, solution focused, client-centered as well as other evidenced based therapeutic practices.

I'm a licensed clinical mental health counselor associate in North Carolina. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Troy University in Psychology with a minor in Exercise Science. I then went on to earn my master degree from North Carolina State University in clinical mental health counseling. I have three plus years of experience working in mental health and vocational rehabilitation counseling services.
