I help people gain freedom from their issues with a revolutionary technique taught by my mentor, Marisa Peer, voted Britain’s best therapist. With RTT I can fix anything from skin conditions to weight issues, to phobias, to addictions, to chronic illness and disease, in just 1-3 sessions. I’m still seeing traditional therapy clients, but since my accreditation in RTT, I’m focusing on moving my practice to exclusively RTT and coaching clients. My target client includes anyone who has been unable to fix or heal from any type of issue, they’ve tried other ways, but have been unsuccessful! RTT is the missing link that can free you!

Are you feeling trapped, anxious or depressed? You're certainly not alone. Many of us carry within untold stories of trauma and limiting beliefs that keep us stuck. Unresolved emotions can take a toll on both mental and physical well-being. Regardless of where you are or how far you've veered off your desired path, you have the capacity to start anew. As the saying goes, "If you can change your mind, you can change your life." By learning how to communicate with your mind, universal principals and your human potential, I can assist you in living a life that aligns with your aspirations, filled with purpose and significance.

My approach to therapy honors the innate strength and intuition of clients. Often, clients arrive at therapy feeling lost, out of control, or overwhelmed. I believe therapy can offer a space to connect with ourselves deeply and learn how to listen to our own self-leadership. I offer a warm and compassionate space that also challenges the natural incongruencies of human behavior. I have experience providing therapy to individuals, families, and couples from diverse backgrounds and orientations. I currently see individuals (16+), couples, and families.

Glad you are taking this first step! I work with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, & more. Symptoms are not one size fits all & your therapy experience shouldn't be either. You deserve therapy that's unique to you & we'll work together to achieve that. I also have a passion for providing support to caregivers, having been a caregiver to my mom who had Alzheimer's & being a parent to a child with special needs. I'm intimately familiar with how rewarding, but also challenging, it can be. Whether caring for an aging parent, disabled spouse, or a child, you deserve to have a place of refuge & support!

Are you a parent struggling to understand the complex emotional or behavioral issues your kiddo is facing? Maybe you are in survival mode, barely making it through the day before you collapse, exhausted, into bed each night, just do start the whole process over in the morning. It can cause strain on a marriage when survival mode becomes the daily grind. I want to help you add some tools to your toolbelt. Parenting kids with a trauma background is a whole different ballgame that requires a different approach than conventional parenting. I love to help couples be on the same team and make it through these tumultuous waters together.

Chronic Illness Therapists

How does therapy for chronic illness work?

Many people living with a chronic illness may feel they cannot speak honestly about their experience out of embarrassment or fear of being a burden, or because those close to them do not understand, for example, that they may “look good” even if they do not feel good. Therapy sessions are an opportunity to speak openly with someone who knows their symptoms are not in their head and who can offer practical, proven suggestions for managing feelings of grief, shame, or fatigue, such as techniques to challenge unhelpful thoughts about symptoms and develop new ways to respond to them, such as distraction or calming breathing practices.

Can therapy help with physical symptoms of chronic illness?

Yes, especially if an individual with chronic illness has developed depression. People with depression are less likely to maintain their health treatment regimens or to take positive steps to manage physical symptoms when they arise, thereby potentially complicating their medical prognosis. Treatment of depression, through talk therapy, medication, or both, will often improve one’s physical state as it eases the emotional burden of illness.

What are the most effective treatment options for chronic illness?

No one living with a chronic illness, or their loved ones, should see depression as an unavoidable result of their condition. Instead, they should actively seek treatment. Research shows that people with depression are less likely to devote the required time and effort to maintaining or monitoring their health, and so therapy to limit the risk of depression can be vital for physical health as well. Therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction have been found to help individuals reduce stress and anxiety.

How long does therapy for chronic illness take?

There is no set timeline for therapy for people living with chronic illnesses, but many will see a therapist for a number of weeks or months, typically spanning at least 12 weekly sessions. Some people feel that they experience progress faster than others but even some who quickly feel improvement may continue with sessions for months or years. Some people may benefit from maintenance therapy if their symptoms change or they experience a decline in physical health. Others find that the skills learned in short-term therapy can be used on an ongoing basis, even after therapy has concluded.
