I believe the most important factors in the therapeutic relationship are compassion, acceptance, and collaboration. Through this type of relationship, I will create an environment where you feel safe and understood, and therefore ready to make effective change. My approach to therapy is strength- based and I will combine psychotherapy interventions with practical and personalized approaches to help you meet your unique needs. My therapy practice is based in the strongest research as well as specialized training in evidence based treatments.
I specialize in trauma, depression, and anxiety. Although I work with individuals throughout the lifespan, I work primarily with adolescents and adults. My extensive training in these areas have been significant in helping clients manage COVID- related distress. My theoretical and treatment modalities are Cognitive Behavioral and Existentialism.
I am currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA and supervise doctoral students. My previous experience includes working and training at UCLA, Pepperdine, USC, and NYU for several years. I have weekend and evening times available. I offer individual, couples, and family therapy. I look forward to hearing from you.
