I utilize EMDR, somatic tracking, nervous system education and presence. When in trauma brain you are "offline" because the brain's messages say to brace for danger. It is hard to feel good when dis-regulated. As we provide new neural pathways to allow experiencing wellbeing we are undoing the familiarization of struggle so that calm/peace can be an anchor.
Working with difficult emotions and feeling supported is at the heart of productive therapy. As we create a comfortable environment you will see areas of your life shifting.
