Psynergy Psychological Associates is a full service psychotherapy office. We offer sliding scale fees for therapy with our LPC-Intern therapists. We are a society in which everyone of us - individually - is expected to "pull ourselves up by our proverbial boot-straps and keep going," which has its benefits and drawbacks, the biggest problem being that the metaphorical straps will inevitably break, often leaving individuals isolated and with relationship and/or work difficulties. I wonder if you could consider it an act of strength and courage - rather than weakness - both to seek help and then to risk receiving it?
