Hi, I'm Christy. I've had experience working with people of all ages. I'm especially drawn to working with older folks who are navigating life transitions. That includes retirement, changes in health, shifting family roles, caregiver stress, feelings of isolation. These issues can be complex and you don't have to figure them out alone.
I believe our lives are shaped by the world around us. For many people right now, the current political climate brings up anxiety, fear, frustration, a sense of helplessness. Therapy can be a space to process what's happening, reconnect with your values, and find ways to cope and stay grounded.
My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and respected. I will help empower you to discover your own strengths, insights, and tools for change. Together we will build a path to a healthier, more resilient you. I accept Medicare in Indiana and Ohio.
I believe in a client centered approach. The relationship between client and therapist is an important part of the counseling and healing experience.
